This program features Patrick Moore, director of The Andy Warhol Museum and filmmaker Gus Van Sant (Drugstore Cowboy, Good Will Hunting, Elephant, and Milk) discussing Warhol’s film The Chelsea Girls (1966) as well as Warhol’s influence on Van Sant’s own filmmaking practice. Their conversation is followed by a screening of the double-screen masterpiece, The Chelsea Girls, Warhol's epic vision of the 1960s New York underground scene.
